Aye, basically any attack you do from when your weapon is put abroad.

The 100% affinity boost is awesome for a Greatsword, as you do a full accuse and hit with 100% crit rate for massive impairment.

The author of this thread has indicated that this postal service answers the original topic.

Many weapons have a Y or Right Trigger unsheathing attack. Draw is referring to either of these attacks, merely once your weapon is out, y'all are no longer doing a draw attack.

The Depict Set on bonus also helps if y'all're doing a slide attack. The showtime striking, anyway. :p

Thank y'all for the answers.

This skill is complimented past quicksheath, and is most effective on heavy hitting weapons or weapons that require a lot of sheath naturally. Plainly this ways greatsword, switchaxe, and arguably the charge blade and hammer. As well as longsword, since its combo automatically sheathes information technology.

It is totally ineffective on ranged weapons because they technically don't accept a draw attack.

But if you feel like you will effectively crit oft without it, (such every bit using weakness exploit) then information technology becomes redundant. Once you have a theoretical 100% affinity, farther affinity skills become ineffective.

Worthy notes: sliding attacks, jumping attacks, and mount finishers are all draw attacks also, since they all require animations beforehand that sheathe the weapon. Aerial Mount Greatsword is a thing, and it'south incredibly brutal in whatever area with a lot of ledges or a Wedge Protrude.

Merely you lot can slide and exercise air attacks without having your weapon sheated beforehand with pretty much whatever weapon, does that still count?

But you lot tin can slide and practice air attacks without having your weapon sheated beforehand with pretty much any weapon, does that all the same count?

Sliding can only exist done when you run, which is something you tin but practice sheathed, so no. You can technically exercise aerial attacks unsheathed with any weapon past rolling off a ledge with the weapon out - that doesn't count equally draw - but the leaping animation you get by running off a ledge tin simply play when you're sheathed, and the consistent jumping assault counts as unsheathed as a directly event.

I was just about to inquire this question, merely I thought I better do a quick search beginning.... This thread helped me out!
