Does this bed comes a solid base board or panels running across the width of the bed? If not, is it possible to get a solid board for the platform base rather than the panels?

All the upright base boards are sold press boards running the width. And laying down two sheets of pressboard running leigth wize.

Just wonder the platform board comes in pieces for king bed. Otherwise it could be too large to get through the door.

Yes the platform comes in two boxes with several pieces in each. Its heavy but it fits through the door

hi what are the exact measurements for the cubby holes depth and width

IN INCHES: ALL THREE 18 WIDE X 7 HIGH. THE LEFT AND RIGHT, 14 1/2 DEEP. THE MIDDLE CUBBY HAS A PANEL THAT SNAPS IN AT THE BACK LEAVING 11. IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO USE THE PANEL THE DEPTH IS ALSO 14 1/2. THE SNAP IN PANEL CAN BE PUT IN OR REMOVED AT ANY TIME.

I just got this dresser and I love it. However, it came with piece P1 damaged and was missing a handle 177. Who do I contact to get a handle and a new P1 piece?

I called their customer service line. I believe it was a call centre in the states, spoke with a rep, and a new piece was sent out to me. Ours came severely damaged, and they were very quick to send us a new piece

Rated 3 out of 5 by Louise18 from Decent Bedframe I bought this a couple weeks ago. It arrived damaged but decided to just keep it cause the damaged part was under the mattress. It's cheap quality particle board with a thin laminate finish but it wasn't super expensive so you get what you pay for. It was easy to assemble. It does look nice once set up and the color was nice as well. I ordered the grey oak. The drawers aren't too deep but still nice to have the extra storage. And I have the bedframe on carpet and the drawers open good. The platform is a couple inches longer then mattress and the corners are pointy which is a safety hazard especially if you have young children. Hope this review was helpful.

Rated 1 out of 5 by BHerzog from Horrible and unsafe I do not recommend this product. I bought this for my 3 year old son. I loved the look and couldn't wait for it. After three months the drawers in the dresser and the bed started to fall apart and the faces of the drawers started to fall off and one landed on my 3 year old. The warranty only gives you three months and then you have to go to the manufactures. So I went to the manufacture and they sent me replacement parts and they fell apart again. This is a bed set which should last for years. I do not recommend this product. I am so disappointed with this product and Lowes for not being able to give me a credit to buy another make in their store.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sterling from Great Sturdy Unit Just built this a few days ago. The box it was shipped in was extremely heavy and the packaging inside was very good. The finished product looks very sharp and matches the image on the website. All the required fasteners were included, plus an additional pouch containing extra pieces and a touch up pencil for and scratches. My only complaint would be that the instructions aren't overly clear. My suggestion would be to double check which is the front and which is the back at several intervals during construction, to make sure the finished edges are facing the front. Other than that, I'm very happy with the finished product.

I should have realized that 100% of the wood used was particle board based on the price. Even the structural parts. After a long night of assembly, everything done by the book, the bed looked great! But only a week later it caved in at the center head of the bed. Then the next night it a beam right above one the drawers cracked in two. After the money and effort spent,this purchase felt like a colossal mistake. I am only 200lbs and my wife is a mere 105lb woman. I would not recommend this bed if you plan on having two people.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Mary 23 from Defective parts Instructions said it would take 2 hours with 2 people. More like 5 hours. Several pieces didn't have the holes for the screws. Diagram for drawers showed 4 holes for 4 screws. There were 3 holes but only 2 matched. The platform itself was supposed to have holes drilled for brackets at top and bottom, there were only holes at one end. My husband had to drill all the missing holes. Delivery didn't happen as notified. It took the shipper 3 days past the delivery date to get the it to us - reason given was there was a problem with the label.

Rated 1 out of 5 by RB714 from Awful I bought this as a replacement for my current platform bed for the drawers underneath however this bed is so cheaply made the drawers literally fall apart even if filled with something light such as socks. Additionally multiple pieces came already damaged. Damage ranged anywhere from scratches to large chunks of wood being missing. The edges of this bed are so sharp they cut your legs if you bump into it as you walk by. Would not recommend this product to anyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by RinnyB from Great, if you're looking for a temporary solution I gave this 4 stars based on cost and appearance and not durability as I didn't expect much from it when I placed my order. I ordered both the dresser and the chest and they both arrived damaged which was somewhat disappointing but I was in desperate need so I was not returning them. The chest also took much longer than expected. UPS' tracking information became unavailable and no one could tell me where it was or when I could expect it. This was only purchased as a temporary solution until my daughter can learn to take care of a nicer, solid set. In no way did I intend for it to be permanent as it will most likely not last.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Whiterope from Solid, great price, not an easy build Firstly the package is really heavy - would take at least two large guys to even shift it, so getting it upstairs a challenge. The bed and parts are solid, but I had two issues with broken draw runners and various holes that did not line up making it a tough build (3+hours). It has so many moving parts tough to see how it can all line up. Finally, being so heavy and multi-part - once built it is not easy to move - so build it exactly where you want it.
